zwozniak Posted January 28, 2012 Author Report Posted January 28, 2012 It just went down to $117 for the same search. Im looking at 2 rooms, 3 people total. Any ideas?
thereuare Posted January 28, 2012 Report Posted January 28, 2012 Unfortunately this property has not yet been reported to the board (we don't see too much traffic to this area, which was only added to HOTWIRE a year or two ago i believe) and with just these two amenities, which would likely be present at most 5* hotels, i'm not able to gain any insight as to which one this may be.Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.Let us know whatever you decide to do for this stay or if we can be of further help. Rhine-and-Roses Posted February 1, 2012 Report Posted February 1, 2012 Your hotel also has a 4.5 Trip Advisor traveler rating. I guess it's always possible that Hotwire gives the hotel 5 stars and Trip Advisor gives it something else. However, assuming both HW and TA use 5 stars, the following 5 star hotels have the 4.5 rating in the area you are looking:Park Hyatt Istanbul Macka Palas - this one may not be in the area- it might be just outside. The map is hard to read.Swissotel The BosphorousRitz Carlton IstanbulGrand Hyatt IstanbulIntercontinental Istanbul CeylanGezi Hotel BosphorousPera Palace HotelWith a 4.5 TA rating and $119 per night, it sounds like any would be a good stay. This is more of a business zone than tourist area. Public transportation is easy, clean, and cheap. Think twice about paying for wi-fi. Huge swaths of Istanbul have free public wi-fi.
zwozniak Posted July 6, 2013 Author Report Posted July 6, 2013 Hotel ended up being Holiday Inn Istanbul-Sisli, not quite in the area i was expecting, it was far from anything tourist related, but friendly staff and nice large rooms, so a WIN in my book.
thereuare Posted July 7, 2013 Report Posted July 7, 2013 Thank you for sharing your win with the board and helping us add this property to the Hotwire Hotel List. Please remember to follow-up your threads with your wins/decisions as you make them so that the information can help other users, as well as a courtesy to anyone who took the time to help with researching your trip. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. While not perfect, glad you enjoyed your stay.
