My last win for this property was at $44. For this coming week, some Hotwire and direct rates were lower, so I started low and bid up to $43. I was rejected - and a good thing, as it turned out, because the day after my last rejection I got an e-mail from Priceline with $5/day bonus cash. I bid $39 plus the $5 and got the Clarion again. Direct rates for the Clarion have been fairly steady at $79 ($63 nonrefundable if you book far enough in advance).

I used the BetterBidding links to Priceline and Hotwire for my searches and bids. With the bonus cash, I clicked on the link in the e-mail they sent me to add the cash to my account, then went in through BetterBidding to make the actual purchase. :D

I got bonus cash on January 25 but didn't know that I could use it even if I logged into PL through Better Bidding. Sorry guys.

For anyone following along, you can still use your Bonus Cash along with the board's PRICELINE links as follows (just as Thespian did above)...

1) click the link in the PRICELINE email to deposit the bonus cash into your account (usually you're given a form to enter your email address)

2) close the current browser

3) use a link on the board to access PRICELINE

4) go to the MY PROFILE >> MY REWARDS link at the top right of their home page

5) use the bonus money link in the MY REWARDS section of your profile (not a link from an email) and bid as usual
