amchi Posted January 25, 2012 Report Posted January 25, 2012 My travel dates are 2/28 to 3/6.My dates are flexible, and I chose those because they are the cheapest for flights.I can also stay at Kahei.I am flying with my wife and 2 kids, age 7 and 3. We are interested in the beaches, driving around and some local cultural stuff.Any recommendations on hotels? I am keeping a budget of $200 a night. Maybe flexible based on situation.Any cool strategies to use?

thereuare Posted January 31, 2012 Report Posted January 31, 2012 PRICELINE only guarantees double occupancy, after that it's at the discretion of the hotel, and you could receive a room with only one bed. While you can call the hotel you win and request a room with two beds, the hotel may not be able, or willing, to honor your request. Is this a risk you're willing to accept? If not, HOTWIRE may still be an option as they allow you to search for up to quad occupancy and ensure sleeping accommodations for everyone you include in your search (although this usually means two beds, the second 'bed' could be a sofabed, rollaway, etc)If you're willing to accept the risk and will bid on PRICELINE, are you willing to pay more for a higher rated hotel OR is the goal the least expensive 3* or better for this stay? Of the above date range, are yo looking for all 7 nites? Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.
