srobinson816 Posted January 25, 2012 Report Posted January 25, 2012 It took me a few tries but eventually I got the Hyatt. I wanted to be in the French Quarter but it became apparent that this time of year the prices are just too high for me. So I added the downtown area and was successful. Its still very close, just a short taxi ride away. I am very pleased for $90 a night.
thereuare Posted January 25, 2012 Report Posted January 25, 2012 Congratulations on your success! While not on the FQ, glad to see you're still pleased with the outcome and this works well for your plans. For the distance traveled, i didn't find taxis in New Orleans to be that cheap. And while you may want to take a taxi back to the hotel at nite, this is actually a fairly short walk to Canal St which is the beginning of the French Quarter.
