TLB71121 Posted January 24, 2012 Report Posted January 24, 2012 I have been watching the boards, but no one has been bidding for the Disneyland area for this weekend. I am looking for either a 3 or 3.5* hotel. Thanks!
thereuare Posted January 24, 2012 Report Posted January 24, 2012 Please start by clicking this PRICELINE link. Then let us know which zone(s) you're willing to accept and your maximum bid. Also, are you willing to pay more fo ra 3.5* vs a 3* OR is your goal the least expensive 3* or better for this stay? (ie- did you want to first try up to your limit for a 3.5*, then if rejected try for a 3* up to your limit... or do you prefer a less expensive 3* vs. a more expensive 3.5*?)Let us know the above and we'll take it from there. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. TLB71121 Posted January 25, 2012 Author Report Posted January 25, 2012 Thanks for the help. I would like to stay in Anaheim North or South (probably more south as crowne plaza is fine). And probably I would start with 3.5* and go down to 3*. And, I would like to stay under $100 for both nights (not incl tax)
thereuare Posted January 25, 2012 Report Posted January 25, 2012 ...probably more south...Sorry, i don't understand. Do you favor the South zone vs. the North zone and are willing to pay more to stay in the South zone OR is your initial goal the least expensive 3.5* hotel in either of these two zones?...I would like to stay under $100 for both nights (not incl tax)Please clarify... $100 per nite OR $50/nite?Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. TLB71121 Posted January 26, 2012 Author Report Posted January 26, 2012 I do not have a care of North or South, just the cheapest area of those 2 zones. And, I would like to bid no more than $50 per night.
thereuare Posted January 26, 2012 Report Posted January 26, 2012 At the 3.5* level you have FOUR re-bid zones. TLB71121 Posted January 27, 2012 Author Report Posted January 27, 2012 Finally got a room. Did multiple tries and finally went with 3* in anaheim south and was "upgraded" to crowne plaza in garden grove for $55 a night for a total of $132.86. Used the provided links. Thank you for all your help. I have never had this much trouble, but there is a 1/2 marathon at Disneyland this weekend. (I am volunteering, that's why I needed the hotel)
