Maria H. Posted January 23, 2012 Report Posted January 23, 2012 Just booked Holiday Inn Crabtree for $41 (total of $55.28 with fees). First attempt for Cary South 3* for $40 was rejected. We added Crabtree and bid $41 which was accepted.

Maria H. Posted January 24, 2012 Author Report Posted January 24, 2012 For the second night of our tour of the Triangle area, we got a room in Crabtree at the Holiday Inn for $41. The room is ok (on the wireless network there now), but feels cheaper than the Hilton Garden Inn (Airport RDU) (also Priceline 3*) where we stayed last night. No microwave, refrigerator, or indoor pool here as the Hilton had. Also of note, I felt treated a bit second class here because of the priceline reservation. We were given a room with a view of the air conditioning units and the receptionist who checked us in seemed put out by doing so. At the Hilton, there was excellent customer service and I felt treated as a valued customer.
