Hi, I was planning on staying in NYC during 1/21 - 1/22. I looked on HOTWIRE and I saw a 3.5* in MTE for $85 which is about $110 after taxes. I am hoping to get it for $100 or under (total cost, so max bid I would think 80) through PRICELINE

I am interested in staying in CPS, Chelsea, Downtown - Financial District, ESB, HK, LES, MSG, MTE, MTW, Soho - TriBeCa, TS. Looking to maximize stars for the least price. Would love a 4* but will be happy with a 3.5 as well.

After bidding up to $78 which was about $103 total at the 4* level it showed me this:

A very nice deal for NYC, hope you're happy with the outcome. If you like burgers, some really like the hotel's restaurant 'Rare', but i'd pass this up and go around the block to Jackson Hole Wymoming at Third Ave and 35th St. Rare is a nice atmosphere and a higher end, but Jackson Hole has one of the best burgers in the city, imo (and would be somewhat cheaper than Rare).
