This 4.5* listing was not there in the 2-3 days prior to today. Today, it popped up and was a bit cheaper than the 4* Times Square listings. In the previous 2-3 days, the 4* listings were $144-146 depending on the number of adults/children (combinations totaling 3 or 4 people). Today, the 4* listings were more expensive, but the 4.5* listing showed up @ $143/night.

Seems to make sense that the Intercontinental was bumped up from 4* to 4.5*. It had better Tripadvisor ratings than the other three hotels in Hotwire's 4* category having the same amenities (Fitness, Restaurant, Business, High-Speed Internet).
