Yes, you can get multiple rooms at one time with Hotwire. 6 is the max on the pull-down menu.

I'm not the expert in this, but the two FLL 3* suite hotels other bidders have reported here had the following amenities (from the pinned thread at the top of this Hotwire-Florida) :

3* Springhill Suites

Amenities: Suite, Shuttle, Complimentary Breakfast, Fitness, Smoke Free, Hi-Speed Internet

3* Summerfield Suites

Amenities: Suite, Shuttle, Complimentary Breakfast, Pool, Fitness, Smoke Free, Hi-Speed Internet, Business, Golf

As you can see, the Hotwire offering you cited is a little better match to the Summerfield because of the Pool and Golf.

The property above does match previous reports for the Summerfield Suites, so that would be my best guess for this one. While this property does get good reviews, $173 seems a bit high for an airport hotel... why not consider the 4* Las Olas-Downtown-Port Everglades property on HOTWIRE which is not only higher rated, but at $119/nite less money too (although you'll likely need to pay for a taxi to the hotel, the taxi to the pier should be less in the morning since you'll be closer to the port). The 4* shows Restaurant, Pool, Fitness, Hi-Speed Internet, Business, and while these amenities are common for a 4* hotel in any city, the Hilton Fort Lauderdale Marina has previously been seen in this zone with this amenity set so that would be my best guess for this one.

PS- you may also be interested in one our latest sites, Pre Cruise Hotels, which makes it very easy to see the hotels near the pier and then see how much more/less it will cost if you go up/down in star rating or stay closer/further away. It also provides distance/driving directions to the pier so you can get an idea of distance and time to the port in the morning. (feel free to share this with your fellow cruisers as it's fairly new and not well know yet)

;) Once AGAIN you've been an enormous help in saving us money!! We secured the HILTON FT LAUDERDALE MARINA @ $116 (grand total of $134.60)- (2/4 -2/5/2012)

using your suggestion below. The cheapest rate would could find online was $179/night -BEFORE tax. We'll all toast you guys when we arrive at the hotel bar!!
