The conference I will be attending is at the Venetian, so I would like to stay at either the Venetian, Treasure Island or possibly the Mirage. I've done the following so far:Bid Priceline 4* all the way to $85 no dice.Bid Priceline 5* all the way to $150 for the 23rd and 24th(They are booked solid on the 22nd and we leave on the 25th) no dice.I saw TI had a deal for $69 but they aren't anywhere near that for the dates I'll need them. Any suggestions?

medamorg Posted January 16, 2012 Author Report Posted January 16, 2012 I'd like to be >$90 in a 4* and less than $150 for 5*.I was really hopeful since these were normally the two cheapest 4* and 5*s I would end up with one or the other, but I guess there isn't any way to garrantee it.
thereuare Posted January 16, 2012 Report Posted January 16, 2012 Unless there is a MAJOR difference in price, there is often little correlation between the hotel with the least expensive rate and the one you will win thru PRICELINE (ie- if two hotels at the same star rating are priced at $300 and $100, then yes, a higher probability that you receive the $100 hotel... but if priced $125 and $150, then there is little correlation)Should you receive the Wynn, Palazzo, Encore, etc... would these really be an issue for your plans; this zone really isn't that big (geographically speaking)Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.
