Hotwire Hotel: Help Identify 3* San Juan

This is the best website. I have used it to link to and purchase rooms before; this is my first time posting. I need some help with a hotwire bid. I am looking for 3 rooms, 3/8-3/10. There is a 3* listed for $94 that has only two amenities and does not match any of the current hotels listed in the hotwire pinned list. The amenities are: Smoke free room(s) and Pool(s). This is even if I click through to the next page on "see all amenities." I was hoping it might be the Doubletree, but I am not sure. I know the 4* currently there is the Sheraton Hotel and Casino and the 3.5 star is the Sheraton Old San Juan. I would actually prefer the Condado area, hence hoping on the Doubletree. Also, it does say it is recommended in only 55% of hotwire's customer reviews so I am guessing it is not the Doubletree. But I realize these aren't always correct because it says the new Sheraton is recommended in 90% of reviews but in their vacation packages it shows only a 77% rating so I know these don't always correlate. I appreciate any help you can provide and will definitely post whatever I get, whether we go the hotwire or priceline route.

Thanks!

Oops, answered my own question. I should have read past the first page here. Guessing you are still guessing it is Le Consulat but I don't want to be the guinea pig for it! I guess we'll all just keep wondering for now. Will post whatever I finally pick.

Thanks and sorry about the waste of post!

Welcome (officially) to BetterBidding! (and thanks for the compliments on the site!)

We hope that going forward you begin to share all your wins with the board so that others can benefit from the information, just as you have been helped by those who posted before you.

What are your needs for this stay, as i'm seeing what i'm guessing to be the Sheraton Puerto Rico Hotel and Casino for ~$115/nite, and in the low $130's the Sheraton Old San Juan and the Radisson.

Are any of these of interest?

Thanks for using the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board.

PS- if this is for a pre-cruise stay you may also be interested in our new sister site: Pre Cruise Hotels which makes it easy to see which hotels are located nearest to the pier, as well as how much more/less it will cost to stay closer/further away or go up/down in star rating. :)

Thanks for your reply. I promise to share my bids in the future now that I am registered! Thanks for the tips on the Sheraton OSJ and Sheraton h&c, but I would prefer something else. We would like oceanfront or near ocean if possible ( for example didn't mind what I thought might be doubletree for a steal because you get free use of La Concha's pool/resort amenities. We also like Condado area for restaurants/amenities. We stayed at caribe Hilton last year and would stay again but not for $209/ night plus added resort fees (cheapest I can find). We have stayed at Sheraton OSJ and didn't really like it except for location. We are pool/beach fans and hated their pool area. The Sheraton h&c looks really great for the price but the location kinda looks pretty poor. Because there are 6 of us, we would have to take 2 taxis everywhere. Their pool area does look pretty nice though. I think I will book a refundable somewhere and then just keep watching Hotwire and bidding on Priceline.
