Hotwire Hotel: Several Additions - Halifax, Ottawa

Will probably add a few more as I book more hotels. Normally I wouldn't bother posting but figuring that I should pay it forwards for having the site save me 50% on my Halifax booking even though the Ottawa one wasn't 100% what I expected :).

One surprise in Ottawa, and one that went according to the hotel list in Halifax.

1) Halifax - Atlantica Hotel Halifax (3.5*)

Amenities: Restaurant, Pool, Fitness, Smoke Free, Hi-Speed Internet, Business, Tennis, Laundry

2) Ottawa East - WelcomINNS (2.5*) (not listed!)

Amenities: Complimentary breakfast, Fitness Center, Laundry, High speed internet

HW rated 2.5*, TripAdvisor and others rated as 2*. My mistake, as I assumed that the hot Prices are drawn from the hotel list that they list, and the only 2.5* listed on HW, and on other sites in the Ottawa East area was the Hampton. Assumed that the Hampton was having the 'missing pool icon', but had a bit of a surprise when the booking went through. Paid $11 more than I would have for the Chimo which is listed for 3* (and I was 99% sure that was what would have been booked had I gone with the 3* deal), but given reviews of cleanliness and noise, I'm not going to bother with the hassle of trying to get a refund for the star difference. They also dropped the price by $4/night right after my booking :(

Moral of the story (and endless Googling beforehand didn't show anyone mentioning this before) - Hotwire hot Deal bookings may occur at hotels not on the regular HW booking list!

3) Vancouver Downtown Entertainment - Ramada Inn and Suites Downtown Vancouver (3*)

Amenities: Restaurants, High speed internet

HW lists this as TA 3.5/5, while TA now shows this as a 4/5.

4) Winnipeg Area - Holiday Inn & Suites(3*)

Amenities: Fitness Center, Restaurant(s), Business Center

Notably, missing the pool icon.
