Hi, Can anyone identify Hotwire 3.5 star Midtown East area hotel with Business centre, Restaurant and high speed internet.$895 for 7 nights in October '12.

My dates are October 18th to 25th. I would probably commit at this stage if you think the deal is as good as it appears to be. They quote 694 euro which is $880.

Traditionally (things can change from year-to-year) the Fall/early Winter in NYC is generally one of the most expensive times of the year. If you don't mind a non-refundable reservation and can get a good deal, it is worth considering as prices towards late October (again, traditionally) are steep. Beyond the high prices, getting a deal for a week straight may also become tough if this period is as pricey as it usually is.

The Helmsley New York has been seen previously with this amenity set, so that would be my guess.

This HOTWIRE offer is just over $100/nite which would be a pretty good deal for a week long stay this time of year. As this is guessed to be the Helmsley New York, if you're happy with this hotel and your plans are firm, i'd have no problem locking it in now.
