rolanano Posted January 12, 2012 Report Posted January 12, 2012 We're going to a concert on Saturday 3/3, and would like a 2-3* hotel downtown for the lowest price. Highest star, lowest price.Can do $119+tax/fees at HI Exp, but would love to cut it to $100 total.I just need a bid strategy please.
rolanano Posted January 13, 2012 Author Report Posted January 13, 2012 Nevermind.Figured it out.Bid $55 on 2.5* and didn't win.Then $38 on 2* and didn't win.Then $65 on 3* and won.Won 3* Courtyard by Marriott...$81 total, 1 night, includes tax and fees. Have to pay to park.But connected to Detroit People Mover, so no cab needed. Can get to the Joe, no problem.And I used the PRICELINE link.
