magj Posted June 27, 2005 Report Posted June 27, 2005 Planning on going to Vancouver on the 7/2-7/4 of July weekend. I'm sorry I know it's may be kind of late to get a good deal! Would prefer Richmond area 3*hotel, please help with bidding strategy and what price range should I start with priceline. Thanks in advance! :)
thereuare Posted June 27, 2005 Report Posted June 27, 2005 Welcome to BetterBidding! Please tell us the Priceline zone(s) you are willing to bid on ('Richmond' is not one of them). You can't designate what part of a zone you wish to be in, if you're going to use Priceline, you need to be willing to accept a hotel anywhere within their shaded boundary of the zone(s). magj Posted June 27, 2005 Author Report Posted June 27, 2005 The zone I want is Vancouver Richmond, according to the priceline map, it's should be the "Vancouver Int'l Airport"2nd Question:How to specified that I want a double beds room? Thanks again :)
thereuare Posted June 27, 2005 Report Posted June 27, 2005 1) Can you accept a hotel anywhere within the boundary of the Airport zone?2) You can't... you can call the hotel after your bid is accepted and put in a request, but it is just a request, and your actual room will be assigned at check-in based upon availability.Based upon the above, are you able to move forward with Priceline? magj Posted June 28, 2005 Author Report Posted June 28, 2005 Yes I'm able to accepted any hotel within that boundary. Thanks again
