pie(chart) Posted January 8, 2012 Report Posted January 8, 2012 First round of bidding included only 3.5 and 4* with 10 bids yielding nothing at my highest bid of $221. 3.5 + allows lots of rebidding since several areas only had 3* or less. Alas too rich for my blood.Target areas were: South Beach - Central, South Beach - Collins Avenue Oceanfront, South Beach - Ocean Drive, Miami BeachSecound round of bidding included 3* and up which gives you much less flexibility to rebid. On the 5th bid was successful with $228. Target areas were: Miami Beach, South Beach - Central, South Beach - Collins Avenue Oceanfront, South Beach - Ocean DriveIts clearly a peak time ... list on their website was $339 so pretty happy. I never expected a two day single person stopover to cost this much though!
