mommyZ Posted January 8, 2012 Report Posted January 8, 2012 This will be our first family trip to California and our first Hotwire bid. I THINK this is either the Holiday Inn Anaheim or Hotel Menege. Any guesses? (Also, if you're familiar with the hotel what are your thoughts on the value once parking and resort fees are added in. We just want a clean place with comfy beds.)3-star Hotel in Anaheim - Disneyland NorthFeb 14-18, 2011$72.00 per night2 adults, 2 childrenThis Hotel features the following amenities:Smoke Free RoomsFitness CenterPool(s)Restaurant(s)Business CenterLaundry Facilities (self-service)High-Speed Internet Access
AaronJB Posted January 8, 2012 Report Posted January 8, 2012 Welcome to Betterbidding. :)While having parking and resort fees are unfortunate, they are not really an effect on the value vs regular rate, given that regular rate users also have to pay the same fees on top of full price room rate. This amenity set would be a match for the Holiday Inn, or the Menage if that has been downgraded to 3* - the HI would be more likely.Thank you for using the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.
wildtraveler Posted January 15, 2012 Report Posted January 15, 2012 The Holiday Inn and Hotel Menage are both located in Ananheim South, both 3*, same amenities. Best way to tell is that Hotwire will disclose the resort fee. If there is a resort fee, you likely have Holiday Inn. You have to weigh if adding an extra $15/nt to the price is worth it to you. All guests have to pay this, but you may be inclined to stay elsewhere and save a bit of money.
