AaronJB Posted January 8, 2012 Report Posted January 8, 2012 Welcome to Betterbidding. :)The 3* Japantown/CCN would be a possible match for the Opal or Cova. The 4* Wharf amenity set has been previously seen with the Sheraton.Thank you for using the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.
jadvargas Posted January 8, 2012 Author Report Posted January 8, 2012 Thanks, I am trying to avoid the Sheraton, been there before and hated it. Any clues on this:3* hotel Fisherman's Wharf $97 ($166 crossed out)amenities:Fitness Center Pool(s) Restaurant(s) Business Center Laundry Facilities (self-service) High-Speed Internet Access Thanks
AaronJB Posted January 8, 2012 Report Posted January 8, 2012 The Holiday Inn has been seen with this amenity set previously, so that would be my guess.Thank you for using the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.

jadvargas Posted January 9, 2012 Author Report Posted January 9, 2012 So I have been priceline and hotwired out for about 6 days now. I was doing a 3 night stay. I found an interesting tip/trick not sure if it is posted anywhere. When I put the entire time for my stay (3nights) on hotwire the best price 4 star in Financial/union/moscone areas was in the 220 range. When I change my search to just 2 nights the prices dropped by about 50$. So I went to priceline and bid for 2 trips, one 2 night stay and one single night stay. I was able to get 4 star rooms (2 at hyatt regency embarcado 93$) and one at the meridian financial district for $106. Far less than my unsuccessful bids when trying for the 3 days together, so if you don't mind moving hotels during your trip you might save, in my case, over $100!
AaronJB Posted January 9, 2012 Report Posted January 9, 2012 Congrats on your success. :)Very nice job splitting your stay! (see this SPLITTING YOUR PRICELINE BID thread for more on this subject) Glad you were able to score a nice deal for all three dates. We'll use this thread for the Hyatt. Can you confirm the date/s of travel for this stay so that we can update the site's Priceline and Hotwire Calendar of Wins? Thanks. Please post your Meridien win as a separate thread. Thanks.Thank you for sharing your win and please use the site's PRICELINE or HOTWIRE links to start your purchases and searches.Enjoy your stay.
