boombacca Posted January 4, 2012 Author Report Posted January 4, 2012 Checking in Thur Jan 12,checking out Sunday the 15th.Any thoughts on what Hotels these may be?Boombacca
AaronJB Posted January 4, 2012 Report Posted January 4, 2012 The 4.5* Mag Mile would likely be the Intercontinental; the 4* NMA could be a few different properties, including the Allerton, Affinia and Westin Michigan Ave - but these amenities are common and it could also be a previously unreported hotel (the Whitehall may also show with this amenity set, I'm guessing, but that has not yet been reported.) With the 60% approval rating I'm seeing, I definitely don't think it would be one of the better possibilities.I'm also seeing a 4.5* NMA for $82 (the price you see may vary), but it's showing smoke-free, fitness, pool, restaurant, internet, business. This property has not yet been ID'd/reported to the board, but may be something like an upgraded (from previously reported 4*) Omni or Affinia. If I click on "see details" to go to the detail page, then scroll down, there is a 4.5/5 tripadvisor rating showing towards the bottom of the page, so this property does get good reviews.Personally, I'd consider the 4.5* NMA. As for the potential Intercontinental, I think it's a very nice property in a great location, but it is an older hotel and may not be everyone's cup-of-tea. The 4.5* NMA is an unknown, but - I think - pretty interesting for about the same price as the 4.5* Mag Mile.Thank you for using the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.

boombacca Posted January 7, 2012 Author Report Posted January 7, 2012 Called Omni, they have received a number of calls regarding this. We have a suite at the Omni. The Omni is all suites. When I called Hotwire they said we would have a room but not a suite. The Omni did not know what this was about. All should be good.Boombacca
AaronJB Posted January 7, 2012 Report Posted January 7, 2012 Awesome! That's what I thought - that this was an all-suites property, but that maybe they had some regular rooms I wasn't aware of. Glad that everything worked out okay. Enjoy your stay.
