Going to Orlando Febr 9-16:

I have a few weeks...so decided to low-ball (like gkp had & won!)...& followed his $10 for midsize SUV...but no luck here, not accepted! SO I then rebid with the bid I won 1 year ago for for same place/same car...$15 for full size, which was ALSO rejected! :(

Will try again tomorrow!

At the moment i'm guessing a fullsize will likely cost in the low $20's and an SUV in the mid/high-$20's.

Patience pays off! Just got an email from Hotwire with a great price of $12.95/day...so was able to book a Full Size car for:

$90.65

Tax recovery charges and fees:

$62.29

Trip total:

$152.94

I tried a $10/day bid on Priceline first to make sure I couldn't get the car cheaper...with fees that would have been $130ish!

But am VERY happy with this rate...even $20 less than the rate I got 1 year ago & was happy with!
