Hotwire Hotel: 2.5* Branson Ramada Inn

I also just recieved this hotel for $46 a night - 7/21/05 thru 7/24/05. Also disappointed somewhat in the price as it is a very slim savings of $6 a night from Orbitz, Expedia, and Travelocity. I had tried to bid for a 2 1/2 * on priceline and was rejected at $48. The icons today for the Ramada Inn were breakfast, pool and business center.

In some small areas the savinsg aren't as great as in the larger cities where competition is more rampant. If you're one of the only games in town, it's hard to justify discounting your rates too much. It is also easier for the higher star (and higher price) hotels to discount deeper... there's just not as much profit margin to discount a $50 hotel room as there is in discounting a $150 hotel room, although both have very similar fixed costs.
