Priceline Hotel: Advice / Current Situation - Beverly Hills West Hollywood (3*?)

Hi folks,

Thinking of staying in the area, I see from the Priceline Hotel list that the 3* in West Hollywood are:

3* Avalon (previously 4*)

3* Farmers Daughter Hotel

3* Residence Inn

3* Grafton on Sunset

I haven't seen much (any?) results for 3* in this neighbourhood on the forum in my searching.. anybody have any current information about how accurate/likely these are?

Also wondering what sort of prices are available.. I see 4*'s going for $120-130.. reasonable to expect a 3* in this area to be $80-90 (or less)?

Please provide your date/s of travel and we would be happy to offer suggestions on how to proceed. The list is updated when new information comes in; the 4* level in this zone generally seems to be the most commonly chosen/reported.

Looking at Mar 2 (Fri) to 5 (Mon).

So I guess there isn't much 'current' data about 3 to 3.5* spots in that area. So it would be quite the risk I guess, not knowing what we could get. Have to decide if it is worth it.

This is a bit off topic, but anybody know cab costs for say a 10 min drive in the area?

FYI, the Farmer's Daughter, Residence Inn, and Grafton are in 3 different areas. The Grafton has the beat location in my opinion, although I haven't stayed there. I didn't like the Farmer's Daughter at all. The Residence Inn is good but I don't think you can get it for $70 like before... I remember there room was a suite and there breakfast was pretty good.
