jeremyw Posted January 1, 2012 Report Posted January 1, 2012 Last year I successfully bid $35 for the Holiday Inn near O'Hare (3*, I think), and was aiming for a similar deal this time around. Ended up paying just a few dollars more for what looks like a nicer hotel. Total including taxes and fees, $51.14.

jeremyw Posted January 4, 2012 Author Report Posted January 4, 2012 We enjoyed our stay at this funky medium-sized hotel. One thing we weren't expecting, however, was the $20 fee for overnight parking. Deal-hunters should keep in mind that this is apparently not uncommon for airport-area hotels. Had I recalled I paid a similar parking fee at a hotel in the same zone two years ago, I might have done some research into other Chicago zones.
thereuare Posted January 4, 2012 Report Posted January 4, 2012 Thanks for the follow-up!Other than the parking charge (your correct, common at many airport locations) glad to hear you enjoyed your stay.
