meetalice Posted January 1, 2012 Report Posted January 1, 2012 Hi everyone.I'm new here, and I already appreciate all the tips & advice that I've found. Thanks!I want to make a bid for Jan 11 to Jan 15 in the International Drive (Seaworld) area. I'm interested in 3*, 3.5*, and 4* hotels. Any advice on what I should put in for the bids? I was thinking that I'd start with the 3* and put in my max bid, then if it's rejected, I'd update to the 3.5* and put my max bid for that, and finally do the same for the 4*. Or maybe I should start with the 4*?If anyone can give me an estimate for the bids, I would really appreciate your help!!:D
bmw745ion19s Posted January 4, 2012 Report Posted January 4, 2012 Alice, how much are you looking to spend per night on the room? for instance 4* on hotwire for your dates is showing around $100 per night, is this crazy high for you or a good deal?

However, much of any strategy would first be based upon your goals for this stay... are you willing to pay more for a higher rated hotel OR is your goal the least expensive x* or better for this stay? What type of hotels do you typically stay in? What is your maximum budget for this stay?
