AaronJB Posted January 1, 2012 Report Posted January 1, 2012 Welcome to Betterbidding. :)A few notes:Please provide the exact date/s of travel and we would be happy to research options/availability.In terms of areas - are you only looking to stay in the Times Square area? There is no way to ensure a suite when bidding on PRICELINE; with HOTWIRE, you can look for a listing with Suite listed in the amenities - this would mean an "all-suite" property, but there are few such properties participating with HOTWIRE and they are not seen terribly often. What would your desired budget be per night? We would also be happy to look at regular rate options if you would be interested in a suite.PRICELINE only guarantees 1 bed/double occupancy. You can request two beds from the hotel, but they could - especially with NYC, where rooms are small and rooms with two beds are often a paid upgrade - say no. With HOTWIRE, you can indicate two adults and two children - this should ensure bedding for the entire party; that could mean 2 beds, but it also could be 1 + sofabed or other combination. HOTWIRE occasionally offers a bed choice option with a listing where one can specify a particular bed type, but this option isn't seen terribly often.Thank you for using the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.

thereuare Posted January 2, 2012 Report Posted January 2, 2012 Would like to stay in 4 star on Staten Island for the 3rd and 4th...If you use the search box(es) on the top left and top right of the board and enter Staten Island as the location, you'll see that neither PRICELINE nor HOTWIRE offer 4* hotels in this area....the 5th through 10th in NYC 4 star...We will use this current thread for your Staten Island stay... please start a NEW TOPIC for the NYC leg of your trip....must have sleeping for 4...See AaronJB's comments above, you can't guarantee sleeping accommodations for 4 people thru PRICELINE, you'll have to use HOTWIRE for quad occupancy (or if you're budget is $300/nite, you might able to get two rooms thru PRICELINE for about this much.Based upon the above let us know how you'd like to proceed and we'll take it from there. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
