rubentt2011 Posted December 30, 2011 Report Posted December 30, 2011 Hey Everyone!I am new at this negotiating war on priceline and I need help! I was looking to staying in South Beach on April 5-8 2012 and wanted to know were to start in pricing. Is $100 to low? Do you have any tips on how to achieve this price?

Were you looking to get the highest rated hotel wtihin your budget OR is your goal the least expensive 3* or better for this stay?Let us know the above and we'll have a closer look at your stay. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. rubentt2011 Posted December 31, 2011 Author Report Posted December 31, 2011 I looked up the location and ocean dr, collins ave, central would be fine. I would be good with 3* if it got accepted. What other areas are there that I can add if it gets denied?
thereuare Posted December 31, 2011 Report Posted December 31, 2011 I would next look at the 3* hotels reported to the board in each zone in the Priceline Hotel List. While the list should not be considered complete (see the comments at the top of the hotel list) it will at least give you a sense of the 'known' hotels to make sure you're ok with this star rating (as this area tends to have a LOT of smaller, independently owned properties of varying degrees of quality). If you're fine with the 3* rating, see this thread on how to determine your re-bid zones: Priceline Re-Bidding Explained. It's important to know how to check these on your own since they can, and do, change at any time, and there need to be checked before each bidding cycle. At the 3* level you have ONE such re-bid zones, feel free to confirm with the board, or if you've read the previous thread and are confused, just post back and we'll break it down further for you.Once you confirm 3* is sufficient and have confirmed your re-bid zones, we'll suggest a strategy for you to follow. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.
