On Priceline, first bid $40, it immediately came back and said you can bid $49 right now and we found a match. Little deceptive in that it said it would include tax which it didn't. <_< It wouldn't allow me to do anything less. So I bid $49 and it gave me Rosen Centre for 2 nights Jan 11, 2012 / Jan 13, 2012 for $98 + $21.08 = $119.08.

The regular rate on Priceline is $165, so I'm happy.

Welcome to BetterBidding!

Congratulations on your success!

Glad to see you received a nice deal at this property and are (mostly) happy with the results. I'm fairly certain the counter-offer you receive didn't include taxes and fees. In the future, you can try to undercut the counter-offer by using your re-bid zones (if any) as explained in this thread Priceline Suggests Price to Pay (and if you're not familiar with re-bidding there is more on that subject here: Priceline Re-Bidding Explained... but if you're knew to re-bidding it's highly recommended you ask questions and/or confirm your re-bid zones with the board before bidding)

Thank you for sharing your win with the board.
