Saw that a previous poster had got a win for this hotel earlier in October. I was hoping for the Helmsley as it is close to the subway and I will be in town to run the NYC marathon on Nov 4, so the less walking the better!

Originally I had searched for a 5 night stay and was quoted $130 per night. I checked the rate for a 6 night stay and the price dropped by $20 per night, so I get to spend an extra night in NYC without spending any extra money!

I am very, very happy with the result! This is a great deal for 6 nights in NYC over marathon weekend! Now I just have to train for the next 10 months or so to get ready for the marathon (I have been waiting to get in to the marathon for almost 4 years so very excited that I will get to finally live the dream!).
