First of all a big thank you to All that posts here, and many thanks to Thereuare!

Due to Last minute change of plans, required me to look for a hotel during the upcoming July 4th weekend.

Just got the Hyatt Regency Pier 66 for $92.00. :)

The bid was as follows (and BTW I used the savingsbarn.com link); the least that I can do for such a great site.

Fort Lauderdale Beach Area:

1. $80 --> Rejected

2. $85 Added Coral Springs -->Rejected

3. $90 Added FL Airport --> Rejected

4. $92 Added Miramar --> Accepted

Thank you again everyone. It is greatly appreciated. Now, hubby wants to stay closer to South Beach for 2 days prior to the 4th. Let's see if I have the same luck!

The Fort Lauderdale dates are: Saturday, July 2nd thru July 5th (check-out date); the Priceline rating is 4*.

In terms of the South Beach stay, I will open another post (the dates will be Thursday, June 30th thru July 2nd).

BTW, I found your site early this year while researching a Hawaiian vacation for late December; I'll been posting regarding those dates as well; I have reservations already; however, if I could save a few $$s the more money towards spa services! yippee! :)
