Priceline Hotel: 3.5* Orlando (SeaWorld - International Drive - Convention Center) Radisson Hotel Orlando - International Drive

Wow this is by far the most Ive had to work to get a hotel. Last minute decision to go to Disney World again this weekend.

Hotwire had Rosen Center for $67, wanted to see how much better I could do on Priceline.

Was really trying to avoid resort fees so only selected this zone and 4*. Started at $30 and used all rebids until I got to $61 I believe. No Good :(

I then went ahead and decided to retry adding the 1 resort zone Im ok with which is Downtown Disney/LBV and the Seaworld zone. Only selected Resort and 4*. Bid again up to $60 realizing that with fees at certain resort I could have a $100+ tab for the night. No Good again.

Before I started I saw several people had gotten Rosen Center or Rosen Plaza spanning over my date for under $50. As Priceline calls both a 3.5* i decided why not try and see what I could get before I payed for the Hotwire listing. I started off around $30 using only 3.5* and 4* Seaworld listing and when I bid $35 was asked to free rebid to $45 without selecting a zone so I thought I was close. Tried $40 and didnt work so $43 and I got it.

Kinda worried about the mixed trip advisor reviews and its probably the least of the 3.5* hotels I would pick to try but Ill be ok with it as long as its fairly nice, clean, comfortable, and safe. I cant complain. Im going to try to check in in the afternoon just in case theres problems I can move rooms or go else ware.

As always I used all the links and will post a review on my return. Coincidentally this is the same hotel I saw a woman flame the board for when she got it at a 3.5* rating before but I think she was angry with life lol

Just posted my review of the hotel. the link is below. This hotel is no where near a 3.5* as compared to others people are winning in the same category, I downrated the property to 1* on the Priceline Survey to try to make as much of an impact as possible. If the beds were fixed in this hotel Id consider it a 2.5* and if the dump next door was demolished or overhauled it would be 3*. To clarify this is not the boards fault at all and no blame is put here, especially since it is on the list of possible hotels. Just want others to be aware of it before bidding in this catagory. Hope this helps!

Also, the hotel says they charge a $10 resort fee at check in but appears my card was only charged for $5. Considering they dont have anything there they shouldnt be charging one lol
