harleyalij Posted December 22, 2011 Report Posted December 22, 2011 Hello,I've tried bidding and re-bidding, using dummy zones, from $100 - $136. I was given a counter offer of $168. I believe that there is a convention going on during my stay - Feb 15-20, 2012.I'll keep trying... Any other helpful tips will be greatly appreciated!MJ

harleyalij Posted December 22, 2011 Author Report Posted December 22, 2011 Done! Thanks for the reminder.
AaronJB Posted December 23, 2011 Report Posted December 23, 2011 I'd continue higher by $3's from the $136 counter offer. The required price should be somewhere between $136 and $168, but hopefully towards the lower end of the range.Thank you for using the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.
harleyalij Posted December 23, 2011 Author Report Posted December 23, 2011 We ended up deciding to go with Trump and used the following bidding strategy:Started at $90. Added $3 and kept rebidding using dummy zones.Won the hotel @ 108 / night for 5 nights. Total: $622.45 (everything in). Checked Hotwire before hand. The same hotel would've been $119/ night. Thanks for the help!MJ

atra3 Posted December 27, 2011 Report Posted December 27, 2011 Hello, could you confirm whether the Trump Hotel was listed as Strip North or Strip North Vicinity - Condo? I really want to stay at a 5* Hotel on Strip North, but don't want to risk ending up at the Trump Hotel!
