I'm looking for a cheaper but not dungy hotel in or near Tilton NH so I can go to the outlets there. Dec 26-Dec 29

On Hotwire I found 2 options both for $62 a night but hope someone can give me an idea of what they may be

2 Star:

Complimentary Breakfast: <amenity names only please... not descriptions>

Business Center: Guests have access to business equipment and services; an additional charge may apply.

High-Speed Internet Access: Guestrooms are equipped with high-speed Internet access; an extra charge may apply.

3 Star: (Recommended in 95% of hotwire reviews)

Fitness Center: Guests have access to exercise equipment; an additional charge may apply.

Pool(s): Property offers at least one pool area; hours and dates of operation may be seasonal.

Business Center: Guests have access to business equipment and services; an additional charge may apply.

In Priceline I found:

2 Star and 1 Star both with free breakfast and rating of 7 or higher.

Can anyone help me identify what these may be? I'm wearing of a 2 star hotel. Haven't stayed in less than 3 star in past ever.

Thanks.

Neither of the HOTWIRE properties above have been reported to the board. My guess is that the 2* may be the Super 8 Tilton-lake Winnipesaukee... i don't have a guess for the 3* (perhaps the Holiday Inn Express??)

For PRICELINE, there is no way to guess as to the property you may receive. Although the 'guaranteed amenities' is a new feature, my belief is that they are showing characteristics which all hotels in the zone possess, not indicating one particular property that you will necessarily be bidding on.

Thanks. I was hoping the 3* is the HOliday Inn express as it has really good reviews and rated #1 on Trip Advisor for the area. Although I think Trip Advisor only has it at a 2 1/2 star.

Searching HOTWIRE again for your dates the 3* is currently showing a 4.5/5.0 Tripadvisor rating, so the Holiday Inn Express or the Hampton Inn seem like likley candidates... given the very high Tripadvisor rating i wouldn't think quality should be an issue with this one.

Plans ended up changing so we not longer are able to go on our trip. Thanks for the help though. Good to know though that these are the two properties as we'll be heading down in the new year.
