kevinlicy Posted December 20, 2011 Report Posted December 20, 2011 Selected the area of "San Juan" only and chose 3 stars, got this deal, $70/night, $599.51 in total including taxes & fees. Called the hotel. They told me that I needed to pay $15/night extra local service charge, which was not included in the pre-payment of Priceline. Anyone know if this is resonable ?
thereuare Posted December 20, 2011 Report Posted December 20, 2011 Welcome to BetterBidding!Congratulations on your success!Thank you for sharing your win with the board. While 'reasonable' can be debated, the additional charge is inline as San Juan hotels which have a casino charge an extra 'resort fee/tax' and i assume that is what the additional charge is for. Please read YOUR MESSAGES and use the requested PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your future travel purchases. Enjoy your stay. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
kevinlicy Posted December 20, 2011 Author Report Posted December 20, 2011 thanks thereuare! It sounds like there is no choice.... Anyway, I thought $70/night was a great deal. Hopefully my wife and I will enjoy the stay.
