Priceline Hotel: 3.5* or 4* Priceline- Orlando

I have tried up to $80 with my primary area being Disney Maingate - Celebration (one set of bids) OR Sea World - Intl. Drive - Convention Center (another set of bids) with several rebid zones (Casselberry, Kissimmee, West Disney Area, Winter Park). I have had no luck. I see several people have won their bids at considerable lower amounts at 3.5* properties in those areas. Any clue what's going on for 1/26 through 1/29? Any advice to share?

Take a look at Hotwire. They've got Disney Main Gate 3 1/2* at $54 for your dates. And some other interesting options. If you post back a couple that look possible for you (with the amenities), the experts here can make a well-educated guess as to what you might receive too.

3. SeaWorld - I-drive South area hotel for $50- 3.5*

that match my area preference and budget.

For experts, what are likely properties here? I have not booked on hotwire before but I am guessing it is a simpler process than bidding on priceline.

You need to also supply the list of amenities and the exact dates you used to aid in the detection process. I'm assuming you just went with the default of 2 people? If you used a different number, also include that information.

While you are waiting for a response, uou might want to also look at the Hotwire list of reported hotels (very first post in Hotwire-Florida area) yourself. You can see the hotels with their amenities as reported by other members.

Hotwire is more direct to use. You just make a selection and hit the button and you are done. The theory is that it tends to be a little more expensive than Priceline, but that isn't always the case. You may be looking at an exception right now.

Hotwire can be a little more generous in its star rating, but again - not always.

My guess from HOTWIRE pinned list- Westgate Town Center

Of the properties above, the only amenity set reported to the board is the last one, which matches the Westgate Town Center. For the 2nd property, although your guess of the Westgate Town Center is close, they're not an exact match for the amenities previously reported to be associated with this property, and the star ratings are different as well (amenities and star rating do change over time, so it's possible, but my guess is that it's something else). As well, the first property has not yet been reported to the board either.
