Priceline Hotel: 3* Miami (Coral Gables) Holiday Inn

After unsuccessfully bidding up to $70 for 4* in the Airport and Coral Gables zone, and unsuccessfully bidding up to $55 for a 3* in the Airport zone, I attempted 3* in the Coral Gables zone. Initial bid of $41 received a counteroffer to add $12. Next bid of $45 was rejected, and hotel was won for $48.

This hotel was not for me, but the person who stayed there said it was questionable whether it was really 3* quality. This hotel also charges $6.95 for parking. I had read somewhere (maybe Tripadvisor?) that parking was free. Well, not anymore.

Hopefully your friend at least enjoyed their stay... i'd guess that at the very least they did get their $48 worth :)
