flurderkian Posted December 16, 2011 Report Posted December 16, 2011 I need some guidance. I've been bidding for a week, and have made it up to $150 for 5* hotel, $130 for a 4* hotel, and $90 for a 3* hotel in the Strip--North and Strip--South area of Las Vegas, all rejected.I landed a priceline win at the 4* Planet Hollywood hotel for $65 12/28/2011 - 12/29/2011.This is the last hotel booking I need to complete my wife and I's 1-week road trip. My remaining budget is $120, although I'd like to stay under $100.Any tips?
thereuare Posted December 17, 2011 Report Posted December 17, 2011 HOTWIRE has a 3* hotel in the Strip North zone for $59/nite which i'm guessing to be the Stratosphere... not my favorite hotel nor a preferred location on the strip, but it is well within your previously bid budget of $90 for a 3* hotel in the Strip North or Strip South zone. If this isn't of interest, my guess at current prices is that you're likely looking at $140-$160 for a 4* property... not only is this is a Friday nite stay, but it's the start of New Year's Eve weekend, which should be a busy time in Vegas.Let us know if the HOTWIRE offer is an option or how you'd like to proceed. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.
