ds3 Posted December 15, 2011 Report Posted December 15, 2011 How do I make sure I get a hotel in Tampa with a shuttle service from the airport? I am leaving for a cruise on Jan 26th, and I was looking at the downtown area for the 25th. Where do I start? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
thereuare Posted December 15, 2011 Report Posted December 15, 2011 Welcome to BetterBidding! You can't guarantee shuttle service with PRICELINE, if you want to ensure this amenity, you'll need to use HOTWIRE and choose a hotel which lists Airport Shuttle as an amenity. The trade-off is that HOTWIRE usually costs a little more than PRICELINE.You may also be interested in our recently launched new sister site: Pre Cruise Hotels.comLet us know how you'd like to proceed and we'll take it from there. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases... and please click each of these links before replying.Thanks. ds3 Posted December 15, 2011 Author Report Posted December 15, 2011 I put in a bid for $42 for 3* Tampa South/Westshore, as I am hoping now for the Hyatt Place Westshore. That bid was rejected. Any help?

ds3 Posted December 15, 2011 Author Report Posted December 15, 2011 I guess that if it is at a very reduced price, I would be willing to overlook the shuttle service. It would have to be downtown without a shuttle. I want to be close to the cruise pier to keep rates of cabs/shuttles to a minimum. Thanks in advance for your help!As for max bid, the Ramada Westshore is at $60 which includes a shuttle, so that is my back-up plan.
