Traida Posted December 13, 2011 Report Share Posted December 13, 2011 I was able to get a rate of $71/night at the 2.5* Comfort Inn in Avon, CO (near Beaver Creek and Vail).This is a great deal for this area (I know from many past trips). Your other options at this price/star rating would be in Silverthorne, CO (the LaQuinta was running about this rate on hotwire.com a couple of weeks ago) but that is 30 miles from Vail, 40 from Beaver vs. the Comfort Inn which is only 8 mi from Vail, 1 from Beaver.I will be posting another as well because I got this same hotel for later in January even cheaper!
