actorkent Posted December 8, 2011 Report Posted December 8, 2011 I seem to remember one time while working on bidding for LV that Mandalay was a sure bet if you bid 4 star, south strip with a surprisingly low bid. I remember this clearly because i did NOT want to stay there. Now. I do. I have to. Anyone confirm my memory on this? i consider myself quite above amatuer at doing the Priceline thing, but Las Vegas is a very different ball of wax and this is the first time i simply have to stay in a specific hotel and am just trying to not pay retail. This is for mid April 2012. - even though i am listed as NEWBIE in the posting, please respond at a higher level, no need wasting your or my time. Thanks.
AaronJB Posted December 8, 2011 Report Posted December 8, 2011 There is no way to ensure a particular property when bidding on PRICELINE; the Mandalay has last been reported at the 4* level and there are a number of other possibilities at the 4* (and 5* if you were to be upgraded) levels. You may be able to make an 'educated guess' as to which hotels are showing on HOTWIRE and possibly spot this property, but there's no guarantee it will be showing for your dates.What are your date/s of travel?Thank you for using the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.
