Priceline Hotel: 4* New York City (Downtown - SoHo - Financial District) Millenium Hilton

Entered $140 and bid was accepted immediately. Hotwire was offering a 4 star Downtown hotel for $146, which is presumably the Millenium Hilton. I figured that there would be a high chance to get the Hilton/ the four star hotel for a few dollars less on Priceline. Probably should have started at $135 on Priceline. But $140 is still a good deal. I stayed at the same property 2 years ago for $125 and liked it.

Also unsuccessfully tried the following other combinations today before giving up and opting for Downtown:

3 1/2 stars up to $143 for Midtown West, Times Square, Madison Square Garden, Empire State Building, Hells Kitchen

3 stars up to $146 for Times Square, Madison Square Garden, Midtown West, Hells Kitchen
