Priceline Hotel: Question about 3.5* in Atlanta - Marriott

My friends are staying at the Atlanta Mariiott Buckhead Hotel and Conference center but I can't afford 18o a night.

I was looking at the list, I see that this hotel is the only one listed for the Buckhead area at 3.5*. If I bid, am I going to get this hotel?

Not necessarily...

If you read the message at the top of the Hotel List you'll see that the lists only contain hotels reported to the board... there could always be others not yet reported, or a hotel may have been upgraded/downgraded to the 3.5* level and not yet reported.

As well, when you bid on PRICELINE the star rating you select is the minimum you are willing to accept, so your 3.5* bid could always be upgraded to a 4* property.

We ended up booking where the team was staying so booked directly thru the Marriott website.
