thereuare Posted December 7, 2011 Report Posted December 7, 2011 Welcome to BetterBidding! Please start by reading your messagesYou can't bid on a specific hotel when using PRICELINE, you have to be able to accept any hotel in the zone at the star level (or higher) that you choose. With HOTWIRE you can often take an educated guess as to what is being offered based upon the amenities associated with the property, but it's still a 'best guess' and no guarantees you will receive the hotel you're hoping for. As well, HOTWIRE only shows one hotel at each star level per zone, so there is a chance the hotel you're hoping for isn't the one which is offered for your particular dates.Let us know how you'd like to proceed and we'll advise accordingly. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. traveler111 Posted December 7, 2011 Author Report Posted December 7, 2011 Perhaps i can try priceline and indicate a 4 star property.
thereuare Posted December 8, 2011 Report Posted December 8, 2011 Did you want to bid the Ft Lauderdale Beach zone? You can look at the Priceline Hotel List to see 4* hotels which have previously been reported to the board in this zone. However, also read the comments at the top of the hotel list regarding that the list should not be considered complete and there could always be other hotels not yet reported to the board which you can receive. If you're ready to move forward and bid for 2/20-2/23, what would be your maximum bid for a 4* hotel in this zone? Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.
