Had booked same hotel for same dates through Priceline for $38, but I needed a second room.

Priceline was no help, and when I tried to rebid under another username as suggested by their help desk, it caught me. Could it be cookies?

Anyway, called the hotel who offered me a second room for $89.00. I declined.

I did ask the hotel's front desk if they participated in Hotwire, and they said yes so I felt confident in trying to book this one, but the second room cost me an extra $19 per night over Priceline. Luck to get the same place though.

BUT, compared to the best published rate of $89++, I stole 2 rooms from them!
