Hotwire Hotel: PORT CANAVERAL: HOTEL, PARK AND SHUTTLE

Hello members,

I need help. I will be traveling from Louisiana to Port Canaveral for a cruise later this month, (2 adults, and 2 children.) I will not arrive to my destination until 2:00 am, the day of the cruise. I need some ideas for a CLEAN, economical place to stay that morning before the ship leaves (at 4:00 pm.) I can't decide if I want to park at a hotel or park in the garage at the port.

I need information for: a hotel

and a hotel with (affordable, secure) parking and a (reliable) shuttle service

Few issues to discuss in order to move forward:

PRICELINE only guarantees double occupancy, after that it's at the discretion of the hotel, and you could receive a room with only one bed. While you can call the hotel you win and request a room with two beds, the hotel may not be able, or willing, to honor your request. Is this a risk you're willing to accept? If not, HOTWIRE may still be an option as they allow you to search for up to quad occupancy and ensure sleeping accommodations for everyone you include in your search (although this usually means two beds, the second 'bed' could be a sofabed, rollaway, etc)

This is not something you have control over when using PRICELINE or HOTWIRE. The deep discounts often seen thru the opaque suppliers is for being flexible in your plans and not knowing the name of the hotel before purchase. Since the name of the hotel you will actually receive is unknown, so will any information regarding parking costs, if a shuttle is offered, etc. See this thread for more information on how PRICELINE and HOTWIRE work: I've Never Used Priceline or Hotwire.

Lastly, you may also be interested in a new site we recently launched Pre Cruise Hotels.com which provides an easy way to get a 'lay of the land' in regards to the pier location, hotels around it, prices, distance to the pier, parking rates at the pier, etc, etc.
