Estuur Posted December 6, 2011 Report Posted December 6, 2011 Hello,First time on this website. I am traveling with 4 adults, but I was thinking about risking it by booking a room for 2 adults and 2 children. Would you recommend this?I found this on HOTWIRE, using the link from this site:This Hotel features the following amenities:Fitness CenterGuests have access to exercise equipment; an additional charge may apply.Pool(s)Property offers at least one pool area; hours and dates of operation may be seasonal.Restaurant(s)Property offers at least one restaurant on the premises; hours and days of operation may vary.High-Speed Internet AccessGuestrooms are equipped with high-speed Internet access; an extra charge may apply. It does not say anything about smoking. :(Recommended by 80%Thank you so much!
jasesun23 Posted December 6, 2011 Report Posted December 6, 2011 I have a post about 3 down for a 4* hotel in montreal. I kept getting the one you are talking about but I wanted the one that was rated 95%. The 95% one I got was Le Westin. Read my post. If you are looking for 1 room for 4 adults you are taking a big chance. First off if they see 4 adults they will want an additional fee for the 2 extra adults. Chance of getting 2 double beds are iffy. I'd read my post and then call Le Westin. Tell they your friend just got a room through hotwire at x amount of money and you'd rather book it through them if they can match it. Otherwise hotwire is a good site to use, just know their rules.
AaronJB Posted December 6, 2011 Report Posted December 6, 2011 Welcome to Betterbidding. :)Please confirm that this is in the downtown zone. Additionally, not indicating four adults is definitely a risk, as the hotel could require additional extra person fees. Thank you for using the site's HOTWIRE or PRICELINE links to start your purchases and searches.
Estuur Posted December 6, 2011 Author Report Posted December 6, 2011 Yes this is a downtown zone. I was going to do the 2 check in while the other 2 "tour" the hotel.
thereuare Posted December 6, 2011 Report Posted December 6, 2011 The property above matches previous reports for both the Hyatt Regency and the Le Centre Sheraton, so either of these would be my best guess for this one. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.Let us know how it goes or if we can be of further help. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
Estuur Posted December 7, 2011 Author Report Posted December 7, 2011 I decided to call Le Westin and I was able to get the rate that the person above mentioned, so no HOTWIRE this time.
