jtangonan Posted June 21, 2005 Report Posted June 21, 2005 New to the board, and I just wanted to say thank you for all of the tips.I was looking for a hotel for an "after friday-night" place to stay from 6/24-25. I bid $85 for a 4* in Downtown/Harbor area hotel and got nothing. Then I re-bid at $90 with Escondido/Vista selected, but still nothing. I re-bid again at $95 and added Miramar, which gave me the Manchester Grand Hyatt downtown. Beautiful hotel that I look at every day from my office.At about half the price of the Hyatt website, just wanted to say thanks to this board...it's a great tool!
