Apologies if I don't follow the proper format for my post and please point out the preferred format if I don't follow so I can do so next time.I started bidding for South Beach (all 3 zones) + Miami Beach for Sat 2/18 - Mon 2/20 (2 nights) and have worked my way up to $150/night for 3* with no luck. I'm willing to go up to $180/night for 3* before expanding my zone selection.Questions:- If I want to spend most of my time primarily in the Miami Beach/South Beach neighborhoods, what are the thoughts on staying in the North Miami Beach zone? (I won't have a car, so worried about transportation hassles/costs)- Is it reasonable to think I can get something in South Beach or Miami Beach at the 3* level for $180/night or less in mid-Feb?- Any other suggestions?Thank you all for your time. I was able to find a room!3*, Miami, (South Beach - Central), Hotel Astor2-18-2011 - 2-20-2011, $170/nightWorked my way up to $165 bidding on all three zones of South Beach 3* with no luck. Went from $165 to $170 South Beach (all 3 zones) 3* and ended up with Hotel Astor. Thanks again for the help!
