Priceline Hotel: 3* Buffalo - Niagara Falls (Airport BUF) Holiday Inn Buffalo International Airport

First I was trying to bid the 3.5* and hope to get the Marriott Bufallo airport (Buf-Amhurst) and had bidded upto $76 and not successful after 5 tries with additonal zone each time.

Then I tried to goto hotwire and saw they have the 3* of $59 + tax (total $75), and I assummed it was Holiday Inn Buffalo airport.

Then I told myself, I will give it a try in the priceline and try $50 for the 3* (Buf-Amhurst), first bid got rejected, then I put Buffalo airport for additional zone and increase to $52. I got accepted.

One room $52

Tax $7.72

Fees $8.20

Total $67.92

BTW, does anyone know if this Holiday Inn have the 7 days parking and what is the price? This is our pre-flight stay and we need a place to park our car for 8 days. Thanks.

Very nice deal for this Holiday Inn property. Park and fly/extended term parking rates are usually park of a special/package deal and are usually not eligible for PRICELINE/HOTWIRE rates. If available, you can try to negotiate with the hotel and see what they say.

If you check 'standard rates' vs. the 'park n fly' rate at the Holiday Inn website, the difference would be a fare price to pay for the Park N Fly 'ala carte'... anything less would be a deal, anything more would be less of a value (and if offered a higher rate than this difference, i would counter the hotel's suggested rate with this amount, explaining your rational for that figure)
