I started wanting a 3.5* to 4* in Lisle/Naperville or Oakbrook/DG...none in Lisle so started by bidding ~54 at Oakbrook. Added Lisle area, bid 56, then added 3.5 and bid ~51. No bites, so I went down to 3* and bid 46. (I wasn't in a rush to book at all). I added a couple other nearby zones, bid again, then noting the $47 I was getting for a 2.5* in Lisle from Hotwire figured I'd see if I could get a $32 2.5 (I like to go for 3.5* to 4* but for one night 2.5* will do, plus I suppose you are more likely to get free breakfast + internet) No bites, so being bored I added the bb/romeoville zone and bid $31. I was surprised to find I got Comfort Inn Romeoville for $31. I'd rather get a 4* for mid-upper $50 range but I'll survive! :D I was hoping to get a Hampton Inn when adding 2.5 but for $31 I won't complain!
