baaman Posted November 24, 2011 Report Posted November 24, 2011 Trying to figure this one out -- amenities listed below, quoted at $139 per night. Amenities below, do not match existing reports for Sheraton Wild Horse Pass so I just wanted to check to see if anyone had any thoughts whether this might be something else. My guess is it's the Sheraton but just want to be careful. Thanks. Amenities:ResortSmoke Free RoomsFitness CenterPoolsRestaurantBusiness CenterLaundry (Self service)High Speed InternetGolf NearbySpa
thereuare Posted November 25, 2011 Report Posted November 25, 2011 The Sheraton would be my best guess as well, but if this is the Sheraton, it would be a new amenity set for that property so can't say for certain or with any high degree of confidence.Let us know whatever you decide and how it goes or if we can be of further help along the way. Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. baaman Posted November 27, 2011 Author Report Posted November 27, 2011 Thanks -- did some more checking and it appears that this offer came with a $35 resort fee -- so I revised my thinking to believe that these amenities describe the Arizona Grand Resort (previously shown in the Tempe area) -- The Sheraton Wild Horse Pass does not charge a resort fee (as of now). I'll stay aware for now.
thereuare Posted November 27, 2011 Report Posted November 27, 2011 Nicely researched... i've updated the Hotwire Hotel List to reflect the Arizona Grand having been moved to the Chandler-South Tempe zone. Thanks for letting us know of the slight change in zone boundaries.Let us know whatever you decide to do for this stay or if we can be of further help. Thanks for using the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board. baaman Posted November 30, 2011 Author Report Posted November 30, 2011 Hi -- Just closing the loop on this one. I ended up booking this stay through Priceline (name your own price). Since budget was a concern for this staty (and since I could not isolate Sheraton Wild Horse Pass on Hotwire), I decided to try to get the Radisson at Fort Mcdowell. Started at 95 and after a few free rebids, hit at 105. Not too bad considering the hotel site was quoting $209 and Hotwire had (what appeared to be this property) for $128 per night.
